Bold Rangers Junior Football Club acknowledges its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of every child and young person, who has been entrusted to its care, and is committed to working to provide a safe environment for all members.
A child or young person is anyone under the age of 18 engaged in any club football activity. We subscribe to The Football Association’s child protection and best practice policy and procedures and endorse and adopt the policy statement.
The key principles of The FA child protection policy are that.
We acknowledge that every child or young person who plays or participates in football, should be able to take part in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from poor practice and abuse.
Bold Rangers Junior Football Club acknowledges that this is the responsibility of every adult involved in our club.
Bold Rangers Junior Football Club supports The FA’s whistle blowing policy. Any adult or young persons with concerns about a colleague can “whistle blow” by contacting The FA Child Protection manager on 0207 745 4771, by writing to The FA Case Manager at The Football Association, 25 Soho Square, London, W1D 4FA or by going direct to the police, social services or the NSPCC
Bold Rangers Junior Football Club has appointed a Club Welfare Officer (CWO) who has completed the required child protection and best practice workshop. The CWO is the first point of contact for all club members and parents/guardians regarding concerns for the welfare of any child or young person. They will liaise directly with the Liverpool County FA CWO and will be familiar with the procedures for referring any concerns.
They will also play a proactive role in increasing an awareness of poor practice and abuse amongst club members. As a club we fully acknowledge and endorse that bullying of any kind is not acceptable. If bullying does occur, all players, parents and officials can be assured that incidents will be dealt with promptly.
Anyone with any concerns should not hesitate to contact a CWO, member of the committee, or in cases of serious bullying contact the Liverpool FA CWO.
Our Club Code of Conducts must always be adhered to, and failure to do so could result in further action. Its important that every member of the club has a clear understanding of all our clubs’ policies because they are there to protect every member

Its never easy for a parent or child to come into a new club and make new friends instantly. So you can only imagine what it must be like for someone with a health condition coming into a club for the first time.
We have seen recently an influx of children who have gone to other clubs but have been told their isnt room or simply they wont fit in.
Well at Bold Rangers Junior, every child is welcome at the club whatever their background and to make the transition to the club better, we have put together a disability team, who will be there to help you within your first few weeks at the club.
They are also there to ensure that your child is enjoying their experience at the club
We understand that children can be quiet when asked about how they are getting on, so the disability team have a child friendly form that can be filled in at home and brought back to the team for the next session.
Even though we cant have information for all health conditions in football, we will do our best to find out what we can do to help.
The disability team is also there if parents may feel that their son/daughter may need more help but they dont feel they can talk to the coach on their own, so they would like the back up of the disability team.
Its up to you and your child, how much help and assistance you require from the disability team but at least you know they are there to help
If you feel that you or your child could benefit from the help that is on offer from our disability team, then please use the below link, to message them directly. One of the team will come back to you asap to arrange a telephone call or a face to face meeting.
